After losing his wife, Martha, to cancer, Stanley devoted himself to raising their daughter, Phoebe, on his own. She was only eight years old when her mother passed away, and balancing parenthood with work was never easy. Although Stanley did everything he could to be a caring father, he often felt he couldn’t replace the role of a mother in Phoebe’s life.

Phoebe worried that the babies would be abandoned again, but Stanley reassured her that reporting the situation was the right thing to do. It would give the police a chance to locate any relatives and reunite the children with family members if possible.
Proud of Phoebe’s kindness and maturity, Stanley apologized for jumping to conclusions. Together, they contacted the police and explained everything. Stanley also volunteered to foster the twins while investigators searched for their relatives.
Months passed without any success. Eventually, the case was closed, and by then Stanley had become deeply attached to Ryan and Peter. He officially adopted the twins, making them a permanent part of the family.
During the adoption process, Stanley met Brooke, a volunteer who helped with the case. The two developed a close relationship and eventually fell in love.
